William Mehus - Executive Chairman
Mr. Mehus (Bill) graduated from St. Cloud State University with Finance and Risk Management degrees. After interning at Marsh & McLennan in 1979, he went directly into the reinsurance field with a regional brokerage firm in Minneapolis, W. J. Lehrke Co. There as a reinsurance broker, he began a long standing (yet today) relationship with Lloyd's of London. Being tribunalized, he remains a Lloyd's coverholder and acts as a Lloyd's correspondent. At W.J. Lehrke, Mr. Mehus began programming insurance company financial analyses. Mr. Mehus has always had an interest in technology. Mr. Mehus is well versed in risk tolerance, transfer, and assumption.
In 1985, Mr. Mehus spent two plus years researching the health insurance industry, having worked/tutored at an HMO and TPA. Mr. Mehus was successful in becoming the National Sales Manager at the TPA, focusing on self-funding options for employers.
In 1988, Mr. Mehus founded OutsourceOne, and its predecessor, Corporate Healthcare Financing, where he remains CEO. Mr. Mehus business interests were focused around technology and reducing inefficiencies. He continued this interest into the health insurance industry, by programming possibly the first ever consolidated billing engine for employer's benefit plans. This engine is one of the backbones of OutsourceOne, while it has gone through numerous transformations/improvements by the development team at OutsourceOne.
Mr. Mehus has been a leader in the industry, having presented at various industry conferences. He has spoken loudly regarding the inefficiencies in the health insurance industry, and has developed business process outsourcing methods to improve efficiencies.
Mr. Mehus led OutsourceOne from a distributor of self-funded plans, as a strategic partner of Alta Health Strategies (then the largest TPA in the country), to a medical claims TPA, to a benefit administrator (all services, COBRA, FSA, billing, call center, enrollment, EDI, etc.), to BPO, to now consumerism and Defined Contribution Health.
Mr. Mehus has been active in his community with children, Olympics, and the arts.
Dr. John Reynolds - CEO
Dr. John Reynolds is Chief Executive Officer of Cielostar a Healthcare Payment and Benefit Technology company with a nationwide customer base that is capitalizing on the healthcare consumerism movement and emerging technology including private exchanges. He was named to this position in August 2012 after leading the successful sale of the FIS Healthcare Division to Lightyear capital that same month. In his previous role as President of FIS Healthcare, Government and Biller Solutions, Reynolds was responsible for achieving a market leadership position (#1 or #2 Nationally) in all business lines. He drove all aspects of the businesses including full P&L, operations, technology, sales, marketing and relationship management. John's divisions incorporated several companies acquired by FIS, as well as other internally developed products and services. Prior to joining FIS, Reynolds was senior vice president and business director for Institutional Trust & Custody, Benefits Consulting and Health Benefits Services at Wells Fargo & Co.
Reynolds has over 28 years of banking, healthcare, benefit consulting and payment technology experience. Previously he managed Wells Fargo & Co.'s Global Trust & Custody business and additionally was responsible for Bryan, Pendleton, Swats & McAllister, LLC, an employee benefits consulting business with a national client base. He also managed sales and customer service within the Global Cash Management department of Mellon Bank Corporation in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Reynolds holds a bachelor's degree in economics, aeronautical engineering and speech communications from the University of Minnesota. He holds a master's degree in management and administration from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, Minnesota. Additionally; Reynolds earned his Ph.D. in organization and management from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Reynolds is a certified flight instructor and has been an adjunct instructor of aeronautical science at the University of Minnesota. He has been a frequent speaker at national healthcare and financial services conferences and has published numerous articles on consumer directed healthcare, B2B healthcare payment technology, accountable care organizations (ACO's), treasury management, electronic commerce, customer loyalty and related topics.
Paulette Rickey - Vice President of Administration, General Manager
Paulette started with OutsourceOne in 2001 and has many years of experience in the Healthcare/TPA Industry. During this time period, her duties have included Payroll, Human Resources, Billing, Customer Service, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Claims/COBRA/ Flex Administration. With the wide variety of experience Paulette brought to OutsourceOne she is an excellent fit to provide outstanding service for the day-to-day operations of OutsourceOne. Paulette has a degree in Accounting with a minor in Business Management.
Tyler McIntosh - Executive Vice President, Sales
Tyler has worked with OutsourceOne since 2000 successfully selling and implementing much of OutsourceOne's current client base. He also plays an active role in the evolutionary development process of OS1's applications and service model. His previous work experience in the health care arena includes positions at United Behavioral Health, Kaiser Permanente, and a Benefits Consulting/Brokerage firm. Tyler earned a B.A. in Healthcare Policy and Management from Stanford University. He also has a MN Life & Health license.
Paul Walther - Vice President of Business Development
Paul joined OutsourceOne in 1994 and has filled a variety of marketing, administration, implementation, and management roles. He has many years of Industry experience within the benefits industry, including nine years with Mutual of Omaha. He has a B.A. in psychology from the University of Minnesota. Prior to his current role, Paul served OutsourceOne as Director of Training and Development, and Vice President of Administration.
Tony Hodge - Chief Marketing Officer
Mr. Hodge serves as executive vice-president for OutsourceOne, an Internet based employee benefits and affinity benefits company, where he has assisted the growth of the company to new channels of distribution and new market opportunities. Anthony Hodge has a thirty five year career in insurance technology that has embodied sales and marketing, executive and general management, and merger and acquisition work including the start-up company, Healtheon/WebMD, financially struggling companies, Continuum and Eldorado Computing Systems, and Fortune 500 companies, Pacific Life and Policy Management Systems. A technologist by training, Mr. Hodge transitioned into sales and marketing in the late 1970's. This transition led Mr. Hodge to participate in one of the greatest technology company transformations ever accomplished.. The company, T.C.C./The Continuum Company, went from less than $1M of gross revenue to $72M in profitable revenue and was one of the top five performing stocks for three years running A particular highlight in Mr. Hodge's successful career was when he was part of a management team assembled by Jim Clark to reinvigorate his start-up company, Healtheon, later known as WebMD. In a four year period, that team took a 50-person company in Silicon Valley and transformed it into a company of 4,000 employees with over a 500M in revenue. Mr. Hodge served as the director of marketing during this growth period and also served as the direct sales person that secured the large health care client that enabled this growth.
Jim Willard - Technology Consultant
Jim Willard has been with OutsourceOne since September of 2000; providing systems design and development for all of the technology of the company. Prior to OS1, he was the CEO of a large national Internet Provider which specialized in providing managed services to other ISP's and rural telephone companies. His combined experience brings 24 years of management and 19 years of technical expertise to the benefits management industry.
Duane G. Harris - Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Harris graduated from Iowa State University in 1966 with a B.S. in Industrial Administration and an M.S. in Economics in 1968. He received his Ph.D. in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1971. Prior to OutsourceOne, from 2001, Duane acted as CEO of Capital Management Resources, LLC specializing in providing financial consulting services to businesses and private equity investment funds. Prior to CMR, Mr. Harris was a founder and Managing Partner at Northstar Capital, LLC from 1993 through 2001. And a Senior Vice President at Churchill Capital, Inc. from 1987 through 1993. During 1982-1987, Duane was Manager of Business Analysis at General Mills, Inc.; as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor at Iowa State University from 1972 through 1982; and as an Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia from 1969 through 1972
Pierce A. McNally - Chief Strategic Officer, General Counsel
Mr. McNally graduated in 1978 from the University of Wisconsin Law School, J.D., 1978 Order of the Coif with undergraduate degree from Stanford University.
Prior to joining OutsourceOne, Pierce was a senior attorney at Gray Plant Mooty practicing in the areas of business law and entrepreneurial services.
In Dec. 1983, Pierce was elected to the Board of Directors of his family company, Midwest Communications, Inc., owner of numerous broadcast properties including WCCO-TV, WCCO-AM and WLTE in the Twin Cities. In 1989, he was subsequently also elected an officer of the company and he served in both capacities until the company merged with CBS, Inc. in 1992.
Pierce has worked with start-up and early-stage companies with which he would also develop an advisory or management relationship. He has written and lectured on numerous topics pertaining to corporate governance issues including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

Stokely Boast - Chief Technology Officer
As Chief Technology Officer, Stokely provides leadership for OutsourceOne in areas such as strategic IT initiatives, partnerships, compliance, security, and disaster recovery preparedness. He provides expertise in designing, deploying, and maintaining OutsourceOne's enterprise IT environment to ensure scalability and reliability. Prior to OS1, he worked in a number of roles for companies such as Computer Associates, Travelers Insurance, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Dell, Palm and BMC Software, as well as owned a medium sized technology consulting firm. His technology experience spans 20 years and covers a wide array of platforms, technologies and environments, and he also brings 15 years of project and organizational management experience to OutsourceOne. Stokely attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the Mathematics with Computer Science program.
Tim Nolan - Call Center Manager
As a recent addition to OutsourceOne, Tim serves in the customer-facing role of Call Center Manager. Tim comes to OutsourceOne possessing 20 years of experience in Call Center Operations and Development. This experience was gained within large corporate environments as well as small private organizations and will assist in positioning the OS1 call center for continued growth. With Customer Service Management skills developed in industries ranging from Loyalty Marketing to Manufacturing he is a good fit to provide the guidance necessary to ensure quality service for OutsourceOne customers. Tim possesses a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration & Economics and a Master's degree in Management.
